They describe this study as &#8220;exploratory&#8221;: it points in a direction, but does not yet allow for direct clinical applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Several reasons explain this reservation:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">the methodology used to assess ASD<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0\u00a0is not perfect. It needs to be combined with other diagnostic approaches to improve its reliability.
